Let’s face it we all have fears.
I have fears. A few months ago I “had” to talk in front of about 60 people. Well I actually didn’t have to but I really wanted to say something that I truly meant in front of these people.
I knew that if I would not capture the opportunity I would regret it and resent myself for it for a long time. Now I’m not exactly the center of the party and I would probably describe myself as an “introvert”.
Whatever that is.
All of the time I was “man-ing” up to stand up and make this short speech my mind was going “don’t do it”….”just stay here and let’s be cozy together”… I wanted to make the speech – but still I didn’t want to – at the same time. Weird right?
It’s easy to say something like “2017 is going to be my year!”……but when it comes to really grow and step in to our fears…..nothing happens…
Let me tell you this. Not much is going to happen if we don’t step into our fears. Nobody is without fears. But there are people that can manage their fears to the point to fuel their growth…After I had finished speaking in front of all these people I felt a tremendously satisfying feeling of self-esteem and joy. When you have come to the top of the hill you realize that you are capable of so much more than you thought.
The road to success and growing personally and financially is all about taking action – even when you don’t feel like it. We all have our good days and bad days. But we tend to not want
to put in the work when we think we are experiencing bad days. I encourage you to write down ALL of your fears on a piece of paper. (Yes writing things down on paper helps you manifest ideas and get better overview of potential problems that need fixin). Evaluate your all of the fears you write down and imagine what would be the worst thing that could happen if they became true.
I am rather certain that the outcome will surprise you and help you to control any fear your have. People have fears about being poor. Yet they also have fear of having success.
And that’s why they never actually take any action. I encourage you to step into your fear and become the person you really want to be.
